As president, I actively oversee all aspects of the business – sales, purchasing, repairs, credit underwriting, collections, repossessions, accounting and administration.

My father Fred Fincher established Fred Fincher Motors in 1959. The company grew and by 1981 my responsibilities included 6 locations in the Houston area, with 10 managers and 65 employees. We sold on average 200 vehicles per month. I was responsible for all sales and sales personnel, credit under writing, repairs, and repossessions. We set Fred Fincher Motors’ all time annual sales record in 1981 and then again in 1982.

As a college baseball player, I traveled across the country to play in places such as Washington D.C., Durham, North Carolina, Poughkeepsie, New York, Tyler, Texas and Austin, Texas. 	Raul — I was born in Mexico and I moved to Houston as a child. I began working for Fincher Motor Company in 1986, the year it opened, and I have held every position in my 21 years here.
